VisionTek Systems have developed a range of products suitable for providing a low cost option for EMC Shielding of large information displays and electronic cabinets enclosures and racking.
The
display panels, mounted in front of LED matrixes, are available in the
following transparent materials :-

Acrylic
·
Polycarbonate
·
Polyester
These materials can be supplied as clear panels or in a wide range of colour tints and contrast enhancement filters. Visibility and durability can also be improved by applying an anti-glare/anti-scratch hardcoat to the front of the panel.
The EMC properties are achieved by applying a fine line silver grid and
busbar on the rear of the panel. This grid is invisible when viewed from
the front of the panel from a distance greater than 1 metre. The mesh line
width is so fine light transmission can be as high as 95%. The largest
screens that can currently be coated are 2m x 1.5m.The EMC properties for
an 88% light transmission grid are listed below.
