Laser Cutting Plastic
We are able to laser cut acrylic sheets from 1mm to 15mm in depth. Laser cutting on our precision machines will give cut pieces a polished edge, without the need for flame or diamond polishing
Because the laser beam is so small intricate shapes and designs with sharp corners can be achieved is a major benefit over traditional routers
Laser engraving images onto the surface of the plastic or acrylic is also available
Laser cutting plastic is ideal for electronic display screens
What Plastics Can Be Cut
Here is a list of plastics that we can laser cut. This list is not exhaustive so if you don't see your material here please feel free to contact us to test your material
ABS, Perspex, Cast Acrylic, Extruded Acrylic, Fluorecent Acrylic, Clear Polyester, Trafalite, Acetal and Fluropolymers.
PLEASE NOTE - We do not laser cut PVC due to corrosive and carcinogenic fumes that are produced when laser cutting
